Hard to believe Katie is 6 months old. She has been sleeping through the night for the most part of the last month. Which is a blessing for everyone. She continues to grow and is larger both in weight and height than most ladies her age. Although this may change as she has recently decided she doesn't want to drink her bottle. I think she has realized the solids taste much better than her yucky formula. Hopefully this will pass. We continue to patiently look for a house and Pete for a job. The weather has been for the most part beautiful lately and we are really enjoying being outside a greater part of the day. (sorry friends up north...I mean it's not that nice)

Katelyn had her 2 month check up today. She weighs 13 lbs 12 oz and is 23 inches long. She is doing great per the doctor. Due to her weight the doctor said she should be fine sleeping through the night without feedings so, sorry Katie but the fun is over. Pray we will be able to get her to agree to this over the next week or so. Brady's vocabulary is increasing by the day. I continue to be amazed at how much he retains. His favorite activity these days is playing tennis with mommy, daddy or his next door friend Ford.
Comments:Gramdpa: Katelyn sure looks healthy and I hope she will sleep all night. We are really looking forward to seeing all of you at Thanksgiving.Add a comment:

Katie had her one month check-up today. She weighed 10 lbs 3 oz which is in the 80th percentile for her age and was 22 1/4 inches which is in the 89th percentile for her age. Brady seems to be slowly adjusting to have a "baby" in the house, he still sometimes likes to pretend she doesn't exist.

Katelyn Elizabeth arrived on Monday, September 1 at 601am. She came after about 12 hours of labor (which was made rather comfortable by our good friend the epidural) and only about 20 minutes of pushing. She was early like her big brother, coming at 36 1/2 weeks. I guess she didn't want to miss the big UF/Miami game this weekend. She and mommy are doing great and are thrilled to be out of the hospital.
Comments:Peachie: So happy for Grandma Jean Campbell. She certainly is a champion for the cheerleading squad of Katelyn Elizabeth. So happy for all of you.Paul and Missy: God has blessed you once again! She is beautiful! You guys are all welcome to come up during hurricane Ike! Love, Paul and MissyMarge & Frank: Thanks for the pictures. She is so cute Happy you both are doing well.Add a comment:

Brady has experienced a lot of first's lately. We just moved into our rental house until we find a home to purchase. He started swim classes, got his first haircut and moved into his big boy bed so baby sister could have the crib. Whew! What a busy past 2 weeks.
Comments:Grandma: Thanks for the update on Brady. We are missing so much by not seeing you very often. How did he respond to the haircut? You were lucky to get the rental house. Hope you find the house you want to purchase soon. What are you naming the little girl? Do be careful and don't work too hard. See you Friday.Add a comment:

Brady has had a very busy month. For Father's Day we went to St.Augustine to visit Pop Pop. It was very relaxing. We went to the alligator farm and saw every kind of alligator and bird possible. For the Fourth of July, Alison, Clifton and Naomi came to visit and we cooked out with some other friends and family. We have sold our house so we are now starting to pack up our belongings to move into a rental house until we find a new home, with a pool and a little more yard, hopefully! Oh yeah, and little sister will be arriving in a few short months
Comments:Marge & Frank: Thanks for the pictures. I wish we could see all of you more often. Brady is growing up so fast. Happy to hear you sold your house and hope you find what you are looking for soon. You are very lucky to sell it. We had a fun time with Don and Martha last weekend. We miss seeing them more often, but understand. Just happy all of you live in Florida and not another state. Hope you are feeling o.k. Love, Grandma and GrandpaAdd a comment:

We found out this week that baby #2 is a little girl. We would post some ultrasound pictures but she was in such an awkward position they are repeating the ultrasound next Friday to get a better view of her. She did not want to show her face very much.
Comments:Marge & Frank: So happy to hear you are having a girl. How lucky. We miss you, so keep us informed. Love you.Jen and Jon: Brady, you are sooo lucky to get a little sister! You are going to be a wonderful big brother! We miss you very much and hope to see you very soon! XOXOAdd a comment:

We are expecting baby number 2 towards the end of September or August if things go like last time! We are so overjoyed that God will be blessing us with another little bundle.

Brady's days are now filled with constant movement. He loves being outside and loves to try and help mommy and daddy with whatever activity they are doing. Just the other day he caught his first worm. Mommy can't wait for the first snake.

Brady is now fully mobile which means mom and dad have had to add a few safety precautions to the house. He can say a few words, dada (his favorite), agua. If you ask him what does a kitty cat say he will say yeow. When we go on walks anytime he hears a dog bark he will say woof, woof. He hears it many times before any of the rest of us hear it.
